In the blink of an eye, Week 6 of the high school football season is here as teams are focused on stacking wins towards playoff berths and favorable seeding.
The top spot in the Big 12 will be decided on Friday as Bloomington (5-0, 4-0 Big 12) travels a short distance to face Normal Community (4-1, 4-0). It’s the same case in the LincolnLand Large Conference, where Farmington takes on Macomb in a battle of unbeatens.
Mid-Illini squads East Peoria, Washington and Metamora are among several teams who sit at 4-1 and are seeking wins to clinch playoff eligibility, but the top Week 6 games in Central Illinois are spread out across a wide variety of conferences.
Clutch Sports Media will have a free, live broadcast of East Peoria taking on Washington in our WMBD Game of the Week on ciproud.com. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 and pregame coverage begins at 7:15.
CSM will also have a free, live broadcast of Metamora playing host to Pekin in our CSM Game of the Week on clutchsportsil.com, with kickoff also at 7:30 and pregame coverage at 7:20.
