Heat-related cancellations knocked many outdoor sports off the calendar on Tuesday, but it was a big night for volleyball, especially for several Bloomington/Normal squads.
Normal West, Normal U-High and Bloomington Central Catholic each put up impressive performances while IVC, Midland, Morton, Washington and Illini Bluffs all stayed unbeaten. Peoria Christian and Washington each won by healthy margins in soccer.
