The Roundup, Sept. 14, 2026: Illini Bluffs wins Tomahawk in golf plus non-conference volleyball and soccer
Another week of fall sports action began with Illini Bluffs boys golf winning the first conference title of the season, plus non-conference volleyball and boys soccer games.
The Tigers defeated Delavan in a tiebreaker and Illini Bluffs’ Crew Fortin also won the individual title in a playoff. Brimfield boys and girls golf also finished in the top three at the Prairieland Conference tournaments.
Farmington, Fieldcrest and Morton were notable winners in volleyball while Manual and Washington were victorious in boys soccer. Normal U-High boys and girls golf teams both added to their trophy case as well.
