High-quality performances were frequent across most prep sports in central Illinois on Thursday.
Peoria Notre Dame boys soccer came away from Missouri with a win over another highly-heralded squad and Intercity soccer continued with Normal U-High stepping closer to the tournament victory.
Mid-Illini schools faced off with Big 12 counterparts with the former conference winning each of those games and Tremont grabbed a big win on the hardwood. Boys and girls golfers in the area were in peak form as several shot career-lows.
