DUNLAP — What started as a unit in third grade PE class has turned into a pathway to being college athletes for three Dunlap girls lacrosse players.

Lily Donaldson, Lexi Burge and AJ Miller are three seniors on an experienced, yet still growing, Eagles team that’s off to its best start in program history. They say that the sport is growing at the school and that many of the Eagles are putting more time into it with the results starting to show.

“Everyone is starting to get the little lacrosse bug,” Donaldson said.

“We brought a lot of new girls on,” Burge said. “We had some girls come up from the rec league so now they're here too. Over the years, we're going to keep growing on these teams.”
