2025 Baseball Preview: Washington once again hopes to be a competitor for the Mid-Illini crown

The Mid-Illini Conference in baseball once again is up for grabs with plenty of contenders seeking their chance at the title. Washington should be a team to watch for with its pitching depth and offensive lineup that features nine “tough outs.”

Led by 17th year head coach Kyle Wisher, the Panthers understand the blueprint for success in the spring with seasons of 20 or more wins across the past four years. A new senior cycle for the Panthers begins with the experience gained from last year as they look to leave their legacy at Washington.
