2025 Central Illinois boys basketball holiday tournament primer: 35 teams set to tip off across 10 tournaments

The holiday hoops season is right around the corner and offers an entire menu of action all around the state, no matter what each fan’s taste may be. 

35 out of the 39 boys basketball teams in the Clutch Sports Media are participating in holiday tournaments with East Peoria, Midwest Central, Bloomington Cornerstone and Normal Calvary taking a break for the holidays. 

Many of the tournaments that those 35 teams are participating in are well-established traditions, such as the State Farm Holiday Classic, Pontiac Holiday Tournament, Pekin Holiday Tournament and Lee Westerman Holiday Tournament. 

Below is CSM’s annual boys basketball holiday tournament primer, which includes area participants, locations, dates and analysis for 10 events across the state taking place over the next few days. Tournaments are listed in alphabetical order.
