2025 Volleyball Preview: Farmington adopting patient, yet aggressive approach in Monroe’s first year

FARMINGTON — Farmington volleyball will usher in a new era both on the court and on the sidelines this fall, but the Farmers are determined to not miss a beat.
Ashley Monroe takes over as the team’s head coach after Cassandra Gauf spent over 15 years in the position before moving over to lead Peoria High. Monroe will coach a Farmers team that lost more than a handful of seniors, but will lean on a group of four seniors that have winning goals in mind.
Despite the shifts in leadership both on the court and on the sidelines, Farmington isn’t going to throw in the towel as it looks to finish in the top half of the Prairieland Conference yet again.
