2025 Volleyball Preview: Peoria Heights hopes to continue upward trajectory with new head coach

PEORIA HEIGHTS — The pendulum has swung with Peoria Heights and it is not looking to swing back anytime soon.


After nearly three decades of single-digit-winning seasons, the Patriots volleyball team broke through in 2023, winning 16 games and having a winning record for the first time since 1984. They sustained their improvements into the following year, where they won 13 games in 2024.


It was the first time since the 1991 and 1992 seasons Peoria Heights finished with consecutive seasons of double-digit wins. Now with a new head coach in Selena Bryan and a solid core of athletes in all four grade levels, the Patriots are looking to continue the upward trajectory the program has been witnessing lately.
