2025 Volleyball Preview: Strong front line pushing Peoria Christian’s regional title dreams

PEORIA — Audrey Sanders, Evi Staley and the rest of the Peoria Christian volleyball team have yet to lift a regional plaque as high schoolers.
But with a jolt of energy from a big freshman class, plus over half of its starters returning from 2024, the Chargers believe they’re well in contention to do so this season.
Peoria Christian, led by veteran head coach Susan Fox, has increased its win total in each of the last three seasons and finished a game above .500 last year. A strong group of attackers and blockers, led by Emma Persinger, Mia Brinson and Evi Staley plus a key defense piece, Audrey Sanders, lead a team that’s hoping to finish strong and continue that trend.
