2025 Volleyball Preview: Strong front line has Midland eyeing first regional title in over a decade

VARNA — The Tri-County Conference might be seeing more green in 2025, especially near the top.
Last season, Midland volleyball took a leap as one of Central Illinois’ most-improved teams and went from the TCC cellar to a 21-win squad that fell one set short of winning a regional title.
The Timberwolves will continue to be an intriguing team with many of last season’s stars leading the way, including first-team all-conference outside hitter Anna McGlasson, all-Tri County honorable mention setter Ella Foster, and senior outside hitter Jordyn Pyles. With a bolstered team culture and plenty of length, Midland is hoping to win its first regional title since 2012.
