2025 Volleyball Preview: Washington hoping to continue success in Simundic’s second year

WASHINGTON — In her first year at Washington, volleyball head coach Paloma Simundic experienced success immediately.
The Panthers started hot out of the gates in 2024, winning their first six matches and finished with 20 or more wins for the first time since 2022. Now in Simundic’s second year at the helm in Washington, she expects to build off of year one’s success.
The Panthers go into 2025 with a very experienced roster, despite the talent that graduated the year prior. The Panthers retain a healthy chunk of their team with players like juniors Carly Dawson, an Iowa commit, and Josie O’Brien, plus Kami Barth and Kadie Bishop coming back for their senior years.
