PEORIA HEIGHTS — After taking a year of respite, Michelle Barnes is back in charge of the Peoria Heights Volleyball team.
The veteran head coach and athletic director looks to lead the team to a bounce back season, but isn’t putting too much pressure on wins and losses. For Barnes and senior Sylvia Thornton, the captain of the Patriots, success will be measured in effort, and how the team starts and finishes matches.
