Bloomington boys hoops on the upswing after rebuild

BLOOMINGTON- Bloomington’s boys basketball program is having its best season in years thanks to a promising young core and a dedicated senior class.
In the past three years, Bloomington has gone through a rough patch that included a winless season in 2023-2024. That was before coach Micheal Mosley took the program back over after five years away from the team.
“I just wanted to bring the energy back,” Mosley said. “Just bring excitement back about basketball for our fans and players, it can be deflating losing that many games.”
Bloomington tasted the win column twice last season, but this year, the Purple Raiders have learned to win with more regularity.
