CSM Baseball Power Rankings, April 20, 2026: East Peoria, Tri-Valley move up, Normal West and Dee-Mack enter top five

The high school baseball regular season is just about at its halfway point and it’s become apparent that Central Illinois is home to several state contenders and several more teams that have deep playoff run potential.
Normal Community and Dunlap both currently ride lengthy win streaks and are at the top of Clutch Sports Media’s large school power rankings. The small school rankings now feature three schools from the Heart of Illinois Conference, which appears to have the potential to send multiple teams to state again.
There’s several notable conference matchups coming up over the next week and a half, including Dunlap vs. East Peoria in the Mid-Illini, Normal West vs. Normal Community in the Big 12 and Tremont vs. Tri-Valley in the Heart of Illinois.
Check out how the best baseball teams in the Peoria and Bloomington/Normal area stack up below in the latest Clutch Sports Media power rankings. Teams in the Mid-Illini and the Big 12 are part of the large school rankings while area schools from any other conference are in the small school rankings.
