CSM Boys Basketball Power Rankings, Feb. 9, 2026: Normal Community, Dee-Mack on upswing

The part of the regular season that counts toward postseason seeding in boys basketball is drawing to a close this week as IHSA brackets will be released on Friday. 

Building momentum is a top priority at this point in the season and many of the 10 teams in this week’s CSM Power Rankings have been doing so for some time. Normal Community, Peoria High and Dee-Mack warranted a higher spot in the rankings after several key wins last week. 

Check out how the best boys basketball teams in the Peoria and Bloomington/Normal area stack up below. Teams in the Mid-Illini and the Big 12 are part of the large school rankings while area schools from any other conference are in the small school rankings.
