CSM Girls Basketball Power Rankings, Feb. 23, 2026: Illini Bluffs leads small school trio on rise

Eleven girls basketball teams in the Clutch Sports Media coverage area remain in the IHSA postseason and the best will have to prove they are truly the best in sectionals this week.
Many local squads such as Richwoods, Tri-Valley and Heyworth were on the ropes in their regional title games but found a way to win. Metamora and Washington both easily rolled to championships, but will encounter a challenging Class 3A Galesburg Sectional.
This week’s CSM Girls Basketball Power Rankings feature four teams moving up from their previous spot, including three that were not ranked in Feb. 9’s rankings.
Check out how the best girls basketball teams in the Peoria and Bloomington/Normal area stack up below. Teams in the Mid-Illini and the Big 12 are part of the large school rankings while area schools from any other conference are in the small school rankings.
