CSM Pick 'Em: Week 5, 2026
The halfway point of the high school football regular season is here in Central Illinois and the area will get to celebrate with lots of tantalizing matchups on deck in Week 5.
The Mid-Illini race will get more clarity as Washington faces Pekin while Morton takes on Dunlap in a state-ranked matchup and East Peoria and Canton both look to pick up their first conference win.
Normal West and its 4-0 record will be tested against Peoria Notre Dame while Class 2A No. 2 El Paso-Gridley hosts Class 2A No. 4 Tri-Valley. Other appetizing small-school games include Farmington vs. Elmwood/Brimfield and Bloomington Central Catholic vs. Monticello.
Clutch Sports Media will be providing free, live broadcasts of Morton vs. Dunlap and Washington vs. Pekin on www.centralillinoisproud.com/games/ and the WMBD+ app. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. for both games with pregame coverage starting at 7:15.
Six CSM staff members have made their picks for who they think will win in 10 of the top games in the area this week. Broadcasters are ineligible to pick winners for games they are broadcasting and will pick the winner of an 11th game instead.
