DUNLAP — Mid-Illini girls basketball, especially in the 2025-26 season, isn’t for the faint of heart.
Dunlap likely won’t win the conference title this year, but the Eagles have a bright future and plenty of good things to take away from facing great opponents week in and week out.
“I think it's definitely helped a lot,” Eagles head coach Kevin Metzger said. “Plus, that’s on top of our non-conference schedule where we’ve played a lot of 4A schools already.”
The Eagles have experienced plenty of ebbs and flows throughout the season.
