PEORIA — On a court that was littered with young, exciting underclassmen, it was a poised, experienced senior who flexed his muscles when the lights were brightest.
Peoria High senior forward Fenix Foy asserted his will around the basket, notching a 21-point, 21-rebound double-double in the Lions’ 59-41 win over Class 2A No. 2 Manual Tuesday at the Lions Den.
The win gave Peoria High (14-5, 5-0 Big 12), who entered Wednesday just outside of the Class 3A top 10, its sixth-consecutive win, while snapping a three game winning streak for the Rams (12-6, 5-0)
