Illini Bluffs softball is dancing on a familiar floor yet again.

Tigers sophomore Cora Ellison belted a home run to center field in the second inning of Friday’s Class 2A state semifinal game against Campbell Hill (Trico) to give the reigning state runner-ups an early lead. With the win, Illini Bluffs pushed its streak of not only reaching state, but advancing to the state title game, to five consecutive years.
