MORTON — It’s been a roller coaster of a week for Jamie King.
The Morton teacher and coach was named the new head coach of Morton’s storied girls basketball team at the school district’s board meeting on Tuesday. He fills the void left by 26-year head coach Bob Becker, who retired in March after amassing four state titles and eight state berths.

Jamie King is ready to carry on both of their legacies.
