Richwoods to play for sectional title on home floor after beating Moline: ‘We’re on the clock now’

PEORIA — Richwoods had the rare opportunity to reach a sectional title game on its home floor on Tuesday night.


The Knights took advantage of it and advanced to the Class 4A sweet sixteen, beating Moline 62-49 to continue their outstanding postseason run.


“I’m so excited,” Richwoods’ Kayla Herron said. “It feels surreal to play for a sectional title.”
