Small school girls basketball delivered a full slate of games as Dee-Mack, Eureka, Heyworth, Tremont and Tri-Valley led a positive day for area Heart of Illinois Conference teams.
Several players had big-time performances to kick off the week, including Roanoke-Benson’s Bri Harms and Bloomington Central Catholic’s Emme Hurie, who both scored 30 or more while suffering opposite outcomes.
Inter-County Conference Tournament play in boys hoops started with two area favorites winning in running-clock fashion.
