The Roundup, Jan. 27, 2026: Washington girls, Morton boys prevail, Normal Community wins Intercity swim

A big Tuesday of high school hoops featured key wins on the hardwood by Washington’s girls, Morton’s boys, plus Richwoods, Tri-Valley and IVC’s boys and girls teams. 

Several other boys basketball teams won conference games while Roanoke-Benson’s Bri Harms and Bloomington Central Catholic’s girls team both set records in victories. Normal Community boys swim also had several record-breaking performances as the Ironmen won the Intercity title.
