The Roundup, March 25, 2026: Morton baseball and softball win, Limestone baseball reaches best start since 2008

Fewer and fewer undefeated teams remain a week and half into the baseball season but Limestone has continued to stand tall and reached its best start in 18 years after beating Olympia on Wednesday.

Other highlights on the diamond included Normal Community baseball sweeping a doubleheader, Fieldcrest’s Drew Overocker hitting a pair of homers in a Knights win and Morton’s baseball and softball teams downing Tremont. Dunlap boys lacrosse won an overtime thriller in the Chicago suburbs.
