Dunlap and Champaign Central softball entered Thursday as the leaders in their respective conferences but Washington and Normal Community stole their thrones away, beating them in nail-biting Mid-Illini and Big 12 games.

Non-conference baseball matchups were plentiful with Dee-Mack, IVC, Limestone among many to add one to the win column and Farmington baseball set a new program win record. El Paso-Gridley and Normal West headlined girls track teams competing at sectionals as many more area athletes qualified for state.

The Mid-Illini Conference meet in boys tennis kicked off with Dunlap and Metamora leading the way to this point.
