The Roundup, May 15, 2026: Illini Bluffs softball, Normal West baseball win pitcher’s duels, postseason soccer begins

Non-conference games on the diamond and playoff soccer games headlined the day in high school sports in Central Illinois.
Illini Bluffs softball and Normal West baseball both won low-scoring games with McKenzie Nutter and Riley Larkin leading their respective teams to wins. Dunlap, Eureka and Normal Community all won in baseball and Brimfield/Elmwood kept its long winning streak going as well.
Eureka, Midland and Washington all closed their regular seasons in softball with victories and Limestone and Bloomington Cornerstone won regional quarterfinals in girls soccer. The Big 12 boys tennis tournament kicked off and Bloomington Central Catholic finished second at a track meet in Decatur.
