Memorial Day featured a pair of super-sectional games for Peoria-area teams, and Illini Bluffs softball capitalized on a late-game home run to clinch another appearance in the Class 1A State Semifinals. Peoria Notre Dame baseball’s bats were held quiet in a super-sectional loss to Wilmington.
