Dreams just got one step closer to being fulfilled on Friday for Brimfield/Elmwood softball and Peoria Notre Dame girls soccer, who are now one game away from a state berth.
Elsewhere, Washington, Metamora and Dunlap all cruised to big wins on the softball field and won regional titles. Prelims finished up at the Class 2A and 3A state meet in boys track and field and doubles pairings from Dunlap and Metamora advanced to final eight spots at the state meet in boys tennis.
