For the second straight year, Central Illinois will have a trio of teams competing at the IHSA State Finals in volleyball.
Bloomington Central Catholic clinched its second straight state trip with a two-set victory led by Kampbell Niepagen. Normal U-High will get to play at state one block away from its campus after beating reigning state finalist Breese Mater Dei and Tremont continued to beat the odds, securing its first state berth in program history after finishing the regular season 17-17.
Normal Community and Washington both fell in two sets.
