The Roundup, Sept. 3, 2024: Mid-Illini soccer opens up, Dunlap and Normal West headline volleyball games

Many teams in the Peoria and Bloomington-Normal area were in action on Tuesday, including every Mid-Illini boys soccer team as they opened conference play.
Volleyball saw a number of intriguing non-conference matchups, including Normal West hosting Metamora and Eureka’s teams performed well at Metamora’s Early Redbird Meet. The IVC Invite in boys golf, Mid-Illini matches in girls golf, plus a few contests in girls tennis and swim/dive headlined the rest of the action.
