Young lineup not impeding Heyworth girls basketball as Hornets eye HOIC title

HEYWORTH- The Heyworth Hornets girls basketball team buzzing as playoff basketball is on the horizon. Currently ranked No. 9 in the latest AP state rankings for 1A girl’s basketball, the Hornets are 17-3 and are on track to have one of the best seasons in program history.

The twist? They’re doing so while relying on a starting lineup mostly consisting of freshmen and sophomores.
