2025 Volleyball Preview: Defense, accelerated tempo looking to key East Peoria

EAST PEORIA — It’s been nearly 20 years since East Peoria volleyball had a winning season but like many Raiders athletic teams, things are beginning to trend upward despite competing in the Mid-Illini gauntlet.
The Raiders are coming off their winningest season since their regional-title winning year in 2005 and believe that their never-say-die mentality on defense, plus a versatile front line can help them be competitive in the conference.
Leading the charge on the hardwood for East Peoria are several multi-sport stars, including Gracie Ahrens, Addison Duncheon and Addison Billingsley.
