A busy Saturday of high school sports not only featured the IHSA football playoff pairings being released, but plenty of action in other sports.
Dunlap girls tennis finished a superb season with hardware at the Class 1A state finals and Roanoke-Benson/Eureka soccer won a regional championship.
Peoria Notre Dame, Eureka, Normal West and Delavan all won regional titles in cross country and Washington edged out Metamora to win the Mid-Illini title in girls swimming and diving. Eureka volleyball won the highly-competitive Heart of Illinois Conference Tournament.
